In his rookie year with the St Louis Cardinals, Albert Pujols surprised the world with 37 home runs and a huge 137 RBI. This was one of the biggest seasons a rookie has ever had in Major League Baseball history. He was named 2001 NL Rookie of the Year and has since continued to dominate ending his 2004 season with a .331 average, 123 RBI and 46 home runs.
